have Joined Forces!

Effective April 1, 2017, Kansas City-based Centriq Training acquired St. Louis-based Premier Knowledge Solutions to form the largest IT training company in the Midwest.

This is great news for both Centriq and PKS customers because it creates an expanded training calendar and additional locations for classes! These companies joining forces will provide:

  • More training course options and more class dates than ever before.
  • Live and virtual classes in both St. Louis and Kansas City.
  • Same great teams in the same great locations.

By combining 40+ years of experience delivering live, instructor led training to IT professionals, we have become the largest IT training company in the Midwest. This is a benefit to our customers because the new Class Schedule will deliver more than 400 desktop and technical training classes, including some technologies that weren’t available previously. Plus, you can take these classes Virtually and at our locations in St. Louis, O’Fallon, IL or Kansas City!

Q: Will PKS and Centriq both remain in their current locations?

A: Yes, classes will still be delivered at the current locations:

Kansas City: 8700 State Line Road, Suite 200, Leawood, KS 66206

St. Louis: One Campbell Plaza, Suite 2B, St. Louis, Missouri 63139

O’Fallon: 1728 Corporate Crossing, O’Fallon, IL 62269

Virtual: Live Virtual Classes can be taken from your home or office

Q: Will PKS and Centriq keep the same instructors and staff?

A: Yes. There may be some new faces around the place as well, but everyone you worked with in the past will remain on staff.

Q: Can I purchase training from the new Class Schedule today?

A: Absolutely! Centriq and PKS’s schedules have been merged so you now have access to all classes delivered by both companies. The Class Schedule can be found here.

Q: If I’m new to Centriq, how do I use the new Class Schedule?

A: You can either search for a specific technology or class on the Schedule or you can filter with the list on the left side of the page. This video provides step by step instructions for navigating the Class Schedule.

Q: How do I enroll in a class?

Q: What are the ways I can buy training?

A: PKS and Centriq offer a variety of purchasing options to fit your needs and your budget. These include: Individual Classes, Centriq/PKS Vouchers, Annual Pass, Vendor Vouchers (Microsoft SATV’s, Cisco CLC’s, etc.) and Custom/Private Classes. Q: What are the different ways training classes are delivered?

A: You have a choice of how and where you want to train. This includes: In a Live Classroom, face to face with a live instructor in Kansas City (Leawood, KS), St. Louis, MO or O’Fallon, IL; from your home or office in a Live Virtual Class; via HD Live Virtual Class at the Kansas City or St. Louis locations; at your own speed and as your schedule allows with Self-Paced Learning; or in a Custom/Private Class (with standard curriculum or curriculum specifically customized for your organization).  You can find the delivery methods available for a specific class on the Class Schedule.

Q: Can I use PKS and Centriq vouchers for all classes on the combined schedule?

A: PKS vouchers can be used only for classes delivered in St. Louis or O’Fallon, IL.  Centriq vouchers (as well as all vouchers purchased from either company after April 1, 2017) can be used for all classes on the Class Schedule.

Q: Is PKS still a GSA Approved Training Center?

A: Yes. This change does nothing to change our status as a GSA approved vendor.

Q: Will PKS’s current Federal Tax ID # and D&B # remain unchanged? 

A: Yes. These numbers will remain unchanged for the time being.
