Windows 10 for Enterprise Customers
Windows 10 is a success, so now it’s time for a migration plan.
Shortly after we all celebrated the clock moving us from 2015 to 2016, Microsoft had their own celebration over the adoption of Windows 10 by more than 22 million enterprise and education customers.
The announcement, made in early January 2016, stated that Windows 10 is now officially on more than 200 million devices worldwide, which is up from 90 million in October 2015 when they last announced adoption statistics.
Microsoft has pointed out that Windows 10 is on the ‘fastest growth trajectory’ of any version of Windows’ out pacing Windows 7 by nearly 140% and Windows 8 by nearly 400%.
Microsoft’s goal is to have an additional 800 million devices running Windows 10 and it looks like they won’t have a problem achieving that goal.
So, what’s this mean to you? As the adoption of Windows 10 becomes more prevalent, the need to for a transition strategy grows. Centriq can help with this by providing the IT training needed to achieve a successful migration to Windows 10.
