Hi! I am Rory Siercks from Lee’s Summit MO. I am from Kansas City, native born and raised, but was fortunate to have traveled all over this country at a young age while I was pursuing a career in music.

Q: Why did you decide to come to Centriq?
A: Before I came to Centriq I was a professional traveling musician for most of my life (15yrs+). Most recently I worked in the automotive industry as a parts professional. I have always enjoyed tech as a hobbyist, gamer, and overall electrical tinkerer and saw no better time to make a change towards a career in IT.
Q: What class has been your favorite so far?
A: So far, my favorite class has been PowerShell scripting. Finding out how things can become automated and putting them to practice is always a feel-good moment.
Q: What do you hope to do after Centriq?
A: I hope to find a career where I can grow as an individual and continue learning more to further my education in the field. Cyber Security is a big interest of mine, so I hope to learn more about it and pursue a possible career in that field.
Q: What other hobbies and interests do you have?
A: I enjoy collecting comic books and old toys, playing Tabletop games with friends, playing music on my own or live, as well as spending time with my family and loved ones.
