Before my time here at Centriq, I spent 4 years at Rockhurst University obtaining a bachelor’s degree. I have worked in various positions at eye care centers around Kansas City since graduating, but I have always been interested in technology. From building a gaming-centered computer to running a Windows-based web server and working with HTML to build a website featuring my artwork.
My name is Timothy Foreman. In 2007 I joined the U.S Army as a diesel mechanic. I spent 9 years in the Army. When I was discharged, I started work for a company Ryder. I enjoyed the work, and I have learned a lot since then. I am married, I have three beautiful children – TJ, Noah and Isabelle. They are my world. I look forward every day to attending Centriq, and I learn something new about being a full stack developer every day. I feel that this is what God has intended for me to do. I love everything about what I have been learning here.
My name is Ira Stotler. I grew up in Manito, Illinois. I joined the Marine Corps in 2013 in the IT field. I am happily married to my wife 6 years now. We have two beautiful children Kathryn and Damien. I have studied and worked in the IT field for 11 years in positions ranging from Helpdesk to Field Technician.
My name is Matthew Davila and I was born in Watertown, NY but raised in Big Spring, TX. I was a former pre-Med student at Mizzou for a little over a year before realizing that I was much more passionate about Computer Science. Before coming to Centriq, I was a Price & Signage Coordinator at DICK’S Sporting Goods and a Driver for Enterprise Rent-A-Car, where I learned valuable skills in the service industry that I look forward to transitioning into the technological field. Using the knowledge and skills gained from Centriq, I am very excited and optimistic to see where my future career leads me.
I grew up in the Kansas City area. I joined the Navy as a Cryptologic Technician working in missile defense. During that time, I deployed twice. I returned home after four years and worked in private security for nine years. I am married and have 4 children aged 15, 14, 12, and 5. I’ve always had a passion for technology and love seeing what it can do to aid humanity.
My name is Stephen Mesler, I have lived in St. Peters, MO my entire life. I am happily married to my wife, Theresa, for almost 8 years. We have three monsters (cats) together, Chudley, Houdini, and Navi. I have worked multiple positions for the same company before coming to Centriq Training to find a new path for myself.
I grew up in a small town in Iowa where my family owns a small amount of land. I had a very supportive family to help me while I pursued my interests. I worked in several different customer service jobs from a diner, to a grocery store, to a steakhouse. These different jobs have helped me develop soft skills especially in the customer service department. I am very excited about the career opportunities ahead of me!
I am a small-town country girl who is married with three amazing children. I was raised on a farm and grew up loving animals, especially horses. I am one of five kids; I have two older brothers and two younger sisters. I joined the Marine Corps when I was 19 and was honorably discharged at 23. My children are 11, 10, and 3. I love being a mom and teaching my kids everything I know.
My name is Michael Ashford. I grew up in the metro-east region of Illinois. I attended the Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville (SIUE), where I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Business Administrations with a specialization in entrepreneurship. I am happily married to my wife for 5 years now. We have two dogs together, Smokey and Bandit. I have worked in various positions ranging from cashier to most recently production planning before coming to Centriq.
I started on a traditional route to a state university, where I accumulated a small house worth of debt. I decided to join the Army rather than continue to accumulate debt. I enjoyed my time in the Army and it was not an easy decision to separate, although I can’t say I miss all the running. I spent about three years working at a help desk and found that I enjoyed solving technical problems.
